Hello, I ve been tanning off and on for about 2 years and I just started noticing bumps which look like bug bites on the insides of my elbows and on the upper part of my bottom. I wasn t sure what this was or how I could treat/prevent it when I go tanning again. Thank You!
Hi. As per your case history of tanning, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 2. Apply a kojic acid cream like kojivit twice daily on affected skin. 3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 30 days. 4. Other treatment options are topical hydroquinone and chemical peeling done by dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
