Can Burning Sensation After Intercourse Be Symptoms Of Herpes?

Hi, Yesterday I had sex twice with this guy I m seeing and we ve briefly tried anal, but it was too painful to continue. We also had oral sex as foreplay, and afterwards I had been experiencing a burning sensation. It s been really uncomfortable so I took a look and it appears that I pinky nail sized cut a few centimeters above my anus. It doesn t really look like sores per say because there is only one and it looks like a popped blister that you would likely to get on your foot. Could this actually be a friction sore, or should I be worried that it is herpes?

thank you for query.If there are cuts then it is unlikely to be herpes.cuts are common during the anal intercourse due to friction or injuries.burning and pain sensation may be due it.You can clean the area with warm saline water twice daily.Apply topical antibiotic creams like fucidin or silverex creams.If does not subside consult doctor.You can get back for any clarifications with details .Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist.
