Can Burning Sensation And Painful Urination After Sexual Intercourse Indicate Something Critical?
Hi, i am 45 years old male. I am a married man since last 15 years. last day before yesterday i had a sexual intercourse with my wife. after washing my body i went to bed at that time i felt some itching in tip of my penis and next day morning same feeling i have as well as while i was passing my urine i felt some burning sensation in tips of my penis. after one day when again i went to discharge my urine before passing urine i tried to press on tip of my penis then i sow some white liquid, not even one drop. same day in the evening same thing happened.today is third day i didn't see any swelling or discharge liquid from penis but still itching feeling is there at the same time while passing urine burning sensation is exist. but it is an unusal i did'nt have this type experience in my life. now what can i do, what shall my next step.
The symptoms mentioned in your post suggest that you might be having Urinary tract infection. Investigations like Urine examination & Ultrasound KUB (Kidney, Ureter, Bladder) will be helpful in clinching the diagnosis.
The treatment involves: 1. Drinking lots of water 2. Antibiotics based on culture & sensitivity reports. 3. If there is associated fever, then paracetamol 500 mg three times in a day can be added.
One more thing...avoid acidic foods, carbonated drinks and alcohol...& maintain good hygiene. There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
