Can Carbon Monoxide Level In Blood Be High Due To Natural Gas Leaking?

I had a furnace leaking natural gas for 5 months and when consumers energy was called when I smelled the gas after living in my new apt. . I had my blood tested 5 days later my carbon monoxide level was 4.9 that was a week ago, I still don t feel great, I had all the symtoms even throwing up dailey. My doctor me he could do nothing. I am still sick, my question is that high for 5 days after they took my furnace out of my apt.?

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Carbon monoxide will slowly go out of your system.
2. Treatment is still controversial and breathing 100% oxygen is advised, but again, it is only in serious cases.
3. It will take another week to get out of your system. Not to worry. It will improve slowly.
