Can Cataract Operation Cause Eye Jumping?

I had cataract surgery on my left eye about 5 weeks ago. I had the surgery on my right eye about 2 weeks ago. My left eye been jumping since the surgery. It is most noticeable when I am tracking something close, for example browsing a shelf while shopping,or trying to track print while reading. The eyeball jumps around and will not track smoothly.my doctor seems to think that it is a problem because the vision in the two eyes is slightly different. But I find that covering my right eye does not help my left eye track smoothly any ideas?

Ophthalmologist Dr. Dadapeer K's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
These symptoms are probably because of astigmatism either pre- existing or induced by surgery.
Hence correction of this by refraction and correction can help you.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
