Can Cervical Pain Radiate From The Neck To Shoulder Blade?

In 2001 I had an ACDF at c-5/6 and c-6/7. I have had cervical pain (in the large bone on my spine that runs between my shoulder blades) and certain movements with my neck I can hear popping noises. I am experiencing right sided pain in the back below the right shoulder blade. Can cervical pain radiate from the neck to this area?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you may be having cervical spodylosis as you are having popping noises in neck movements.Your C5/6andC6/7 is already fused.You want to know that can cervical pain radiate from the neck to below the right shoulder blade. Yes it can radiate to this area.Diacerine and glucosamine slow down degeneration process.For pain relief you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovering. For numbness neurotropic agents like Mecobalamine will be of help.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
