Can Change Of Epilepsy Medicines Cause Missed Abortion?
my daughter is nearly 18, average height and weight. she has type one diabetes and a type of epilepsy! she recently had a missed miscarriage which was at the same time as her epilepsy meds were changed to keppra. . would there be any connection? she is fairly well again but she is getting headaches and very bad breath. . any ideas why?

hi lybrate user, missed abortion is not due to Change of epileptic drug.
it could be due to diabetes with high sugar levels or diabetes with infections.
if I would have been your doctor I would have advised you to get sugar levels rechecked, HBa1c, TSH done
control of blood sugars if high then plan for baby after 3months once everything is fine.
