Can Changing Hypertension Medicine Cause Swelling In Lower Limbs?
Im 53 have high blood pressure and take med for it and have taken this years for years about 6months changed me to different med i come home today from a hunting trip that i did a lot of walking i my feet my feet and legs are swelled up never had done this before
Hi there yes some antihypertensive meds do cause swelling in your lower limbs, if its happening to often or if its persisting do consult your cardiologist for an opinion and get one echocardiography done to see for your cardiac function. rest cut down your salt intake and water intake to 1.5 to 2ltrs a day. Good Luck
