HI THANKS FOR ASKING THIS ON HCM, TOBACCO CHEWING CAN LEAD TO A CONDITION CALLED AS SUBMUCOUS FIBROSIS WHICH CAUSES HARDENING OF YOUR ORAL MUCOSA AND YOU WILL HAVE TRISMUS WHICH IS DIFFICULTY IN OPENING THE MOUTH. YOU WILL ALSO ENCIUNTER PAIN WHEN EATING SPICY FOODS. AND THIS IS A PREMALIGNANT CONDITION WHICH MEANS IT MAY DEVELOP INTO A ORAL CANCER IN THE FUTURE SO CONSULT WITH A SURGEON AND GET IT TREATED. THE TREATMENT USUALLY INCLUDES STEROIDS AND INJECTION OF PLACENTRAX. AVOID HOT DRINKS LIKE COFFEE AND ALSO SPICY FOODS.
