Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello ,
I understand your concern.
I am Dr. Arun Tank, infectious disease specialist, answering your concern.
Chlamydia never causes boils. It may be arises because of infections caused by other bacterias.
I advice you should do culture and sensitivity from the boils. And treatment should be taken as per the report and your doctors guidance.
Please maintain the hygiene and cleanliness as it is equally effective for treatment.
Concurrent treatment of the chlamydia also should be taken. Please avoid sexual intercourse till you are not clear of the infection.
It is possible that even though your partner do not have infection it can transfer infection to you. In such cases partner acts as a silent carrier. So treatment for chlamydia should be given to both the partner simultaneously.
I will be happy to answer your further concern you can contact me here or you can contact me on bit.ly/DrArun We wish you a best health at healthcare magic. Thank you, Dr. Arun Tank
