I have G6DP deficiency , I have read napthalene is a possible risk of haemolysis.. I recently read an article about cigarettes and saw they contain napthalene ... I have been smoking for about 5 years (current age 21) ... ?s it true about cigarettes containing napthalene and if so am I in danger?...
yeah, some, probably arsenic too. Just at teeny tiny amounts. The tar's and organic chemicals can certainly affect the lungs because they directly hit the lungs. They'd be dissolved into the entire body to be in the blood and diluted more than 20 fold. So... no, not enough to do anything to the blood.
