Can Cloudy And Dirty Water Cause Fever, diarrhea And Vomiting?
We recently took baseball team to tournament. Every player swam in hotel pool which was cloudy and seemed dirty. My son did not swim, the whole team is very sick high temp, headache, throwing up and diarahea. Everybody sick except my son who did not swim. Did the Pool get them sick????
Dear poorly maintained swimming pools containing plenty number of bacteria and protozoa. Once water has been contaminated by germs that cause diarrhea, a swimmer only has to swallow a tiny amount to become infected. These are cryptosporidium, Giardia, Shigella, norovirus, and E. Coli. These may cause diarrhoea and fever etc..
Swimming may cause swimmers rash by pseudomonas auresenosa , swimmers ear, leginella pneumonia etc... Please take them to the physician as early as possible. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions please feel free to ask me.
