My 36 year old niece was a cocaine user, not a heavy one more like a social user. I think she has stopped since she has come to live with me or so she says. She has been very ill for the past month, coughing and unable to breathe. AFter several tests she has been diagnosed with sarciodosis of the lungs, could this be the result of the cocaine as she also smokes.
Sarcoidosis is multifactorial and multisystem disease. So a single thing can not cause disease. And the more important is the treatment of the sarcoidosis rather the cause as treatment is not depends on the cause. There are many factors for sarcoidosis like infections, pollutant exposure, genetic basis, environmental exposure etc.
