Can Colifoam Be Used As A Suppositor?

I have plasma cell vulvitis. I am being told that colifoam can be used vaginally to help this but I have concerns as it is not normally used this way. Also I have a history of blood clots and wonder if it is safe. I am 55 yrs, height 5ft 7ins and weigh 12 stone 2 lb.
