Can Combination Of Simvastatin And Betahistine Cause Nausea?

I have been taking betahistine hydrochloride for two years for severe vertigo caused by COPD. I was then prescribed disperible aspirin for another circulation problem. It was then dis covered that my cholesterol level was high (don't know the figures) and was prescribed Simvastatin (40mg). After taking these for 4 days I experienced sever nausea and could only take liquids. Two weeks later I am still experiencing queasiness and have to eat very carefully. I stopped taking all the meds when I was only able to take liquids and statred the betahistine first as, I feel, this is my most serious problem. I am nrevous about starting the other meds again in case I set up the nausea again. Is this combination like to cause severe nausea as all three can cause some nausea individually.
