Can Coughing Cause Problem To Fetus During Pregnancy?
Good morning. I am now 6w4d pregnant with twins through a successful IVF. Since Sunday I have had a runny nose, and last night I have started coughing somewhat strongly on and off. Is it dangerous for my babies? Monday we had our first u/s and saw the babies and their heartbeats and when I mentioned the runny nose my doctor said it shouldn't worry us. Does the coughing change the scenario? Thank you. Nina
hi. it seems like you have caught common cold. Cough even with accompanied with running nose, suggests upper respiratory infection. you can take paracetamol, steam, do saline gargles. it will be fine around 4~6 days.. if not report to your doctor. take care
