Can Coughing Cause Spleen Injury?

Can one injure his/her spleen by caughing. The spleen possibly beeing irritated/infected by a bacteria (flu symptoms and throat infection), which is currently being treated with antibiotic. Symptoms: Very sharp shooting/stabbing pain around the spleen area when caughing.

usually coughing alone won't cause spleenic injury ,if your spleen got injured you would have severe pain abdomen with features of internal bleeding like lower bp, increased heart rate .so I think it is is a muscle issue .apply hot water bag ,ointments .
