Can Cretin Level Of 2.8 Come Down After Taking Cudo, Dytor,Urimax, Ketosteril And Arkamin In A Controlled Diabetic Patient?

hi, My father is 61 year old, diabetic since 2 yr, now level is under control, has undergone to knee surgery last year, His BP is around 170/100, recently diagnose with cretine at 2.8, taking cudo, Dytor,Urimax, Ketosteril and Arkamin. Is critine level come down to normal in coming days. Thanks, XXXXX

Hello,

Elevated creatinine in a diabetic indicates kidney damage. This is called Diabetic nephropathy. He needs further evaluation like urine albumin, microalbumin and macroalbumin test.

Consult a nephrologist and assess the degree of renal damage.
