Can Cymbalta Taken For AutoImmune Disease Cause Huge Pimple On The Lips Or Is It Something Else?
I have AutoImmune Disease and take Cymbalta for pain. Since I started Cymbalta - I have had this HUGE Pimple like sore come up on my lip. I thought they were cold sores but they are not. Its like a very large pimple that hurts and last for 2 weeks. Is this something I should be concerned with? Could there be other problems going on due to this? I have one now and a bunch of puss came out of it.
It is very rare to have this kind of side effect (huge pimple on the lips) with Cymbalta. But it can be rule out. Any drug can lead to allergic skin reaction, specially if started after the initiation of drug use. These kind of reaction also more common in person with auto immune disease. In my opinion, you should stop Cymbalta use and meet skin specialist for further intervention.
You can also tell me about other associated symptoms to understand case and help you better.
Wish you good health and all the best.
