Can Dark Vaginal Discharge Be Side Effect Of Diflucan?
I had vaginal itching for the first time in 64 years so my family physician prescribed a 3 day (3 tablets) treatment of diflucan. I finished 2 days ago The itching has stopped. However, today I noticed dark vaginal discharge. Is that normal after having taken the diflucan? I am on vacation and not near my family doctor at this time. Should I be worried. In late July I had uterine polyps removed and a D and C YYYY@YYYY

Dark vaginal discharge is most commonly dried or old blood.
It is possible it is due to infection that you just treated but you may want to be assessed by your doctor on your return home.
This assessment may include physical examination of the abdomen and pelvis and possible imaging (ultrasound) of the uterus.
Depending on the findings further tests may be needed.
