Can Depression Cause Sleepiness, Blurry Vision And Dizziness?

I've been having trouble staying asleep but I am always feeling sleepy, blurry vision and dizzy. I lost my brother 4years ago and thats when all the problems started. Could I be severely depressed? And working 3rd shift is not helping with any of this. Should I consider changing shifts as well?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Symptoms of depression may include difficulty concentrating, remembering details, and making decisions, Fatigue and decreased energy, feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and/or helplessness, feelings of hopelessness and/or pessimism etc. Depression may also cause many psycho somatic and obsessive symptoms like pain, blurry vision, tiredness, lethargy, dizziness etc.

But you should be able to distinguish between depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. As you mentioned, you lost your brother 4 years age. Were you traumatized or deeply stressed at that time? I suggest you to consult a psychologist / psychiatrist for proper evaluation and diagnosis.
