Can Diabetic Neuropathy Cause Swelling And Severe Pain In The Foot?
My son is 44, is a Diabetic, was in a motorcycle accident in December, his rt foot was broken, his left leg is swollen and foot extremely painful. When he was in hospital he kept telling them and they only took xrays and ignored it. He is now in severe pain, they did xrays, nothing broken, are waiting for an MRI, taking weeks, he can barely walk and is elevating and icing. My question is for your thoughts, I am worried he has diabetic neuropathy and nothing is helping him.
