I HAVE CHRONIC HEMIPLEGIC MIGRAINE. MY SON IS A RECOVERING HEROIN/OPIATE ADDICT, A TYPE 1 DIABETIC. HE WAS RECENTLY IN A CAR ACCIDENT THO UNHURT. HE HAD A DIABETIC SEIZURE LAST WEEK AND LOSS OF MOTOR FUNCTION AND NUMBNESS ON ONE SIDE OF HIS BODY THE NEXT DAY. CT SCAN SHOWED NOTHING.
Hai,
*Heroin belongs to Opioid *Heroin withdrawl presents as excessive secretion all over body with pain all over body
*check for other substance use
*Alcohol withdrawl can present as seizure. But it will present usually on 2nd or 3rd day of last intake of alcohol.
*In diabetes Hypoglcemic state can cause seizure irrespective of drug addiction
