Can Diarrhea Be Treated With Imodium?
Hi, so I binge drank for 28 days ..around day 14 I started having loose stools..then diarrhea. I have been sober 3.5 days and my stomach is just torn up. No pain..just bright yellow frothy liquid diarrhea. I am taking vitamins and probiotics. I also just began taking my hydroxyurea again (I stopped while drinking) for essential thrombocytosis. I have an eating disorder...bulimia but it has been days since I have acted on it. I am a 51 yr old woman. How do I stop this diarrhea? Should I take Imodium?

I really appreciate your concern most of the diarrhea are self limiting unless have some pathology only hydration is matter, Imodium should not be used for this because this could cause paralytic ileus, just take care for hydration, your other medical conditions and medicines have nothing to do with this, have a nice day.
