Can Dicorate Er 250 Cause Any Side Effects?

Hello Doctor, 2 months back i was having sever headace and my doctor [neurologist] ADVISED DICORATE ER 250 DAILY 1 TAB AT NIGHT, I WANTED TO KNOW IS THERE ANY SIDE EFFECT OF THIS? AND SAME TIME IAM TAKING AMLONG 2.5 MG FOR BLOOD PRESURE IAM 47 YEARS OLD. PLS ADVISE.

Hi,

Dicorate ER contains divalproex which belongs to the group of medications known as anti epileptic drugs is used to treat epilepsy. It helps prevent and control seizures. It is also used in the prevention of migraine. Occasionally it is used to treat bipolar disorder. Side effects of Dicorate ER are nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, weakness, fatigue, sleepiness, abdominal pain, infection, hair loss, weight gain, double vision, diarrhea, tremor, flu like symptoms, muscle pain, confusion, anxiety, ear pain, irregular menstrual periods, unusual tiredness, allergic reactions etc. Amlong 2.5 mg can be taken together with Dicorate ER.
