Can dislocation of a finger joint be treated by merely giving pain killer and a bandage? Can a doctor judge by seeing the finger that it is a dislocation or he has to take help of xray for this. Can dislocation be classified into simple and grievous? Innocent had been trapped , how can we proof that a this injury is a simple not grievous, pl advice. If your advice is free then it is OK if you are charging for that pl ignore as I am helping a very needy person from my own pocket. Thanks
Any dislocation/fracture is a grievous injury medico-legally.Always it is better to Xray grievous injury before setting it as medico-legal evidence is needed often. Simple dislocations may be reduced even before xray for treatment purpose but if some legal opinion is needed in a case it is safer to get x ray before hand.
