Can Double Typhoid And Jaundice Be Treated In A Diabetes Patient?
my grandma is 78 years old and she has been diagnoised with double thyphoid and jaundice..she has no BP nor diabetes..her motions have also reduced since yesterday night as she was hospitalised yesterday night at 10pm. how much time will it take to for her to get cured
Thank you for your question. Typhoid fever is a bacterial infection and the presence of jaundice implies it is a severe infection which requires admission and administration of intravenous antibiotics. As for your grandma, she is already admitted and I am sure she should be on antibiotics prescribed by her attending physician. She should be start feeling fine within five to seven days though the treatment might last 10 to 14 days. Good luck
