i had my ears pierced the helix and just above the ear lobe on the same ear. a week went by and everyting was fine then when the second week come around the helix piercing became swollen ,ofcause i ignored it and kept cleaning it but then the pain increased so i changed earings and it seemed to comfort it abit. the next day my lymph nodes became swollen and the pain just didnt decrease at all... no puss came out so i didnt think it would be swollen and as for the other piercing that is also cartilage.there was nothing wrong with it.was i right to take the earing out of the helix piercing or was it unnecessary?
