Can Eating A Lot Of Apples Cause Floating Stools, Abdominal Cramps And Flatulence?

I’ve had two episodes of floating stool in two days accompanied by abdominal cramps and flatulence.

I have been eating a lot of apples and berries lately. Could this be cause ? Want to rule out possibility of underlying condition.

No weight loss, or fatigue

Hello,

Apples and berries are not the cause of your symptoms. The symptoms seem to be related to a gastroenteritis. I suggest you use over the counter option like Imodium three times a day.

I also suggest you use daily probiotics. I recommend eating a fibre-rich diet and drinking a lot of liquids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
