Can Eating Full Pack Of Mentos Lead To Some Food Poisoning?
Hello , I gave my 4.5 year old daughter 1 roll of mentos and she ate the whole pack in 1 day. She started caughing, has cold and fever. can you suggest anything for her health...u think she might have caused food poisoning. please help thanks fauzia
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. The main content of menthos is mint. It aalso contains preservatives which are food grade and some artificial flavors which arre very much usually used in prepration of food. People are in the habit of eating packets of mentos within a day. Most of the clinical trails are suggesting there is no danger.
In the case of your child, if there was anything wrong, purging, colic and vomiting would have started within hours. The bodily symptoms could be something not related to mentols. Therefore, do visit a physician for asertaining the exact cause and for proper diagnosis.
Hope this answers your question. Available for further clarifications. Goo luck.
