Can Electric Shock Cause Any Problem To The Heart Rhythms?

I am traveling and got a small half second electric shock on my left hand. The shock was felt mainly in my fingers though my forearm did tighten.

Where I am traveling there is very limited ( potentially none ) medical services.

It was about 2 hours ago, I was a bit shaken but feel fine.

My question is about the shock disrupting my hearts rhythm. It feels fine but I am not sure what symptoms I should be looking for.

My pulse feels strong and even at around 58bpm. How long after the shock is there any risk.

Appreciate you answer

Hi,

If shock was mild no damage is done. What I guess from your description, there is a very low probability of any problem occurring after this. So it doesn't looks like a matter of worry. Shock does disrupt heart rhythm but only during the period when shock was passing through body, once it has already passed and no damage done, I think you are safe.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
