Can Embolism And Melanoma Of The Eye Be Related?

On Thursday a friend went to the ER with heart racing, with HR over 200. A defib placed on Friday and on Sunday back to the ER, having numbness in the face, head and neck. Dr. said she may have thrown a embolism. The next day on Monday seeing a eye doctor with vision problems. Tuesday a specialist says she has malignant melonoma of the eye. Surgery in one week on the eye. What is throwing a Embolism or could this have been from the melonoma of the eye???
