I believe I am suffering from gastritis I went to the hospital 3 months ago for what I thought was food poisoning. I drank alot of beer last night and woke up feeling more hungover than usual.... I threw up took some peptobismal and then drank some pedialite.. my question is. 1 is heavy drinking going to trigger this gastritis and secondly at what point can excessive sweating from gastritis be an issue if I drink plenty of fluids? Ps I was told I had gastritis by the emergency room when I went and have some anti nausea medication ondansetron, can I use that for extreme nasua when needed?

Can Excessive Drinking Cause Gastritis?
Hello dear , hi Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly . * Excessive drinking does cause gastritis for sure via irritation and inflammation of the stomach mucosa lining , many cases lead to ulcer formation . * Excessive sweating to the point of vertigo , fall , gabhraman can be of issue otherwise not . * Anti nausea medications can be taken for extreme nausea whenever more problem . * Gentle suggestion without your demand How about the plan to quit drinking rather than suffering at multi levels and damaging internal organs ? Hope this will help you . Wishing you fine health ahead . Regards .
