Hello I'm a 16 years old male and I have a problem about my testis..It feels pain sometimes since last 4 days and I just don't know why..Since last month I masturbate more often (average 4 times a day) and I think I hurt my testis because of masturbating...I can't make it suffer by touching so I think it appears from masturbating too much..I wonder if I'm correct or not and I just want a solution please... :S
Hi. Thanks for your query. Excessive masturbation causes the urethra to get injured and infection of the urinary tract. This can go in a retrograde way to the testes and epididymes to get inflamed and infected. I would advise you the following: Stop masturbating so much- 3 to times in a week is fine. Get tests of Urine culture and sensitivity, microscopy and routine/ other tests of blood. Ultrasonography of the abdomen and the scrotum with a color doppler setting will helps us more to find the root cause. Further treatment as per the reports.
