Can Fluctuating BP Cause Headache, Dizziness And Vision Problem?

I have had a constant headache for the past 7 days that has effected my vision at times. I have also had some dizzy spells while sitting. This evening I used an electronic blood pressure machine in a doctors surgery. I did the test on right arm then left arm 4 times. These were the results 138 over 74 (right) 134 over 79 (left). 131 over 82 (right) 129 (left). 141 over 79 (right) 127 over 77 (left) then 138 over 83 (right) 137 over 80 (left). Could these results be causing the head aches, dizziness and vision issues?

Hello,

Yes, it is possible for blood pressure changes to cause symptoms similar to yours.

Arrhythmia also is a possibility.

I think that a Holter monitoring for 24 hours could give valuable information about your condition.

Discuss with your Cardiologist for these issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
