Can Frequent Travel Cause Dry Cough In Child?

My 13 year old daughter has had a cough for close to two months now. It's a dry cough and she has no other symptoms. No allergies . What could be causing this? We travel overseas twice a year. Is it possible she was infected in some way?We have traveled since she was born and I'm getting concerned ...my husband and other children are fine.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello and welcome to health care magic,

The common causes of dry cough at her age can be allergic bronchitis, reflux or just plain infection. In any case she needs to be evaluated with complete blood test, Chest X ray and also pulmonary function test.

You need to do these and get back to me or any ENT and also a pulmonologist for the proper treatment.

Frequent travel may not be of issue but need to be evaluated on that also

regards
