Can General Anesthesia Be Administered Safely When Suffering From Sinus Tachycardia?

hi ,, male patient 83 ys old will be operated after 2 days >> follow up cystoscopy & he has sinus bradycardia ( 48 beats / min ) . he is not taking any drugs that affect conduction ( BB , CCB ,,,,, ect )
how can u preoperatively asses him & if he is fit or not for general anesthesia although other investigations & clinically he is fit apart from sinus bradycardia ,, thanks in advance

Hi,

For full examination he will need to undergo echocardiography and holter monitoring(24 hour ECG monitoring), if there is no serious abnormality on echocardiography, he has no pauses on holter monitoring and there is an adequate rate acceleration during physical activity, then he can safely tolerate general anesthesia.
