Can Genital Herpes Be Caused After An Oral Sex?

I think I might have genital herpes. My boyfriend does not have it and we have not had intercourse. We have had oral sex though. I have not been intimate with any other man. I am having bumps and sores on my vagina with some think greenish discharge which smells musty. It has been mildly controlled with over the counter yeast infection cream but as soon as it wears off it burns again. My boyfriend had a cold sore the day after having oral sex and I had an outbreak a week later.

I can understand your concern for your symptoms: according to your complaints you may be suffering from Genital Herpes with Fungal infection too.

Both are sexually transmitted disease and treatment should be giving to both the partner at the same time. Common symptoms of Herpes.
1. itching
2. burning sensation
3. sores ,redness and irritation
4. after few days pain and discharge too.

I would advice you to meet a doctor and start treatment for you and your boyfriend with abstinence of sex till recovery.
