Can Groin Ingrown Hair With Pus, Bleeding And A Hole Be Treated?
I had a spot on my groin area, it was an ingrown hair. I squeezed the hair out and some puss. then a few days later it came back, a little harder and when i squeezed it a little LOADS of puss mixed with blood came out. I m scared now, because after this it left what looks like an actual hole in my skin. what do i do?
I can understand your concern for the groin ingrown hair with pus, bleeding and a hole in it.
After reaing your query I can make out that you have got deep infection at the ingrown area which is recurring again and again.
In such kind of situation it is always better to take a proper course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drug to treat the infection at the earliest.
In my patients with your kind of condition I always prefer to give a course antibiotic containing Amoxycillin and clavulinic acid in proper dose.
A better part is to do culture and sensitivity of pus and as per the best sensitive antibiotics a proper regimen could be given.
I suggest you to meet a family physician and get proper treatment.
All the best.
