Can Groin Pain Be Caused By Vaginal Hysterectomy Or Hernia Surgery?

Hi I had a vaginal hysterectomy with ovaries removed with bladder sling on july 8 2014 and had pain in groin area off n on since surgery but also had two hernia surgeries with mesh about 7 years ago and only the left side hurts do you think its from doc said my hernias were both huge and I weigh 108 a 5 3height do u think its from previous surgery or hysterectomy

Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. Any surgery can result in severed nerve endings which can lead to pain and tingling/numbness in the innervated area. The sling surgery also can cause the pain until healing is complete. Moreover, the fact that you are still obese can also be causing dragging pain in the groin, considering the fact that you have had hernia repairs. I would ask you to see a doctor for further management. Wish you good health.
