Can Gummy Candy Ingestion Wrongly Cause Any Problems?
Hi,Last night I may have swallowed a gummy candy (similar to a gummy bear) down the wrong tube. I know that if you you swallow a foreign object like plastic, you will get sick. Is there anything that needs to be done if food (i.e. gummy candy) goes down the air tube and possibly into the lungs?

As per our clinical experience, any foreign body inside the air passage will give immediate symptoms of respiratory distress or others; so if certain hours have passed without problems, means that it has not entered your air passage.
