Hi I just dyed my hair today blue black my normal color I been doing 4 2 years by my usual hair stylist .and today I had a hard time breathing from the fumes it seemed stronger my scalp went numb n tingly n my face n lips...n I feel like I have inhaled it I have a taste of ammonia or dye in my mouth I was also ready to pass out from dizziness she washed my hair out but I cannot wash for 2 days to let the color set but the smell is still there .PLEASE HELP!!! I m 18 scared and feel like it s in my lungs n mouth yuck !
hello,thanks for your query, ammonia containing die can cause serious hypersensitivity reactions.like rashes, itching, redness of area, breathlessness. as 2days over, its obserption will come down. u can take simple citrizine 10mg daily one tab at bed time. in persistent itching at scalp, apply betnosol scalp lotion twice daily. in case of breathlessness u need to er physician as u may require nebulizations and oxygen inhalation. hope i have answered ur query, all the best, take care.
