Hi: yes I have Hashimotos with antibodies attacking my thyroid. I have been on thyroid 60mg/day of Armour since Dec 2013. Over the past 2 weeks i have developed tingling in my legs. It seems that this is common with my condition as stated many times on the internet. Can you shed any light on this condition. Thanks
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have hashimotos thyroiditis and it is most common cause of hypothyroidism. Long term hypothyroidism can leads to peripheral neuropathy and it leads to tingling and numbness. You should check your thyroid hormones level and change the dosage according to need.
Diabetes can also leads to tingling due to peripheral neuropathy. So check your sugar level also. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
