Can Having Headaches And Migraines Be Related To Lucozade Intake?

Hi, a friend of mine drinks a large amount of the energy drinks lucozade, he s 16 and has average weight and height, he also plays a lot of football and has recently been saying about how he has been having reoccuring headaches and migraines, i was wondering if the headaches were linked to the lucozade intake?

There is a chance that the excess sugar or some other ingredient in the drink is causing the headaches. Your friend should avoid the drink for a week and see if it helps you. If stopping the drink does not work, the Drink may not be causing the issue.

Here are a few things that you can do:
Inhale steam mixed with Eucalyptus oil to clear the nasal passages
Take a Paracetamol 500 when you feel you are about to get a headache
Drink lots of water
Sleep well and get at least 8 hours of sleep a day
Eat meals at regular times

Follow up after 5 days. All the best.
