I am smelling a musty smell but with no external reason. I had strep C 14 days ago after suffering for 3-weeks. I told my doc I know I have step... she would never test so went to ENT. given augmented 400 for 10-days. to date I hear ringing in both my ears constantly, loss 30% hearing, pain in R voice box location, sensitive to sound--HURTS! I don t think i have a fever, my voice has changed to a raspy voice and I over all feel sick or something is wrong.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for asking at HCM,
I have gone through your query it seems that you have nasal problem and because of that you have altered smell.
The nose and ears are connected by a tube called as eustachian tube and so the nasal infections could travel through it and infect the ears and so is the ear disease.
The nasal infected secretions fall in the throat and infect the throat and so throat irritation.
You need to consult ENT specialist and take antibiotics and decongestatnts.
In doubt do reply
Regards
