Can Headache And Shooting Abdominal Pain In Children Be Signs Of Hand, Foot And Mouth Disease?

Yes, I believe my daughter is in the beginning stages of hand foot and mouth virus. She's 4 and a half years old and about 45 pounds. I was instructed to give her 2 pellets of belladonna 30c. About 20 minutes later she had a bad headache-like shooting pains, and on the right side of her abdomen also pain. She seemed a little disoriented as well. She is now sleeping and has been for about an hour. Her fefer has dropped a bit, but I have never used this before and I am feeling a little worried based on her immedicate side effects. Your thoughts and experience would be very comforting right now.

Hello there, thanks for the quiery. Does she have ulcers all over her mouth and rashes/blebs all over hand and leg along with the fever, since she is four and half, it could be that or only in the mouth ulcers and gingival inflammation then with fever and lymphadenopathy it could be primary herpetic gingivostomatitis. So i suggest plz take her to your local dentist and keep the fever down by giving her analgesics,disorientation is common with fever.Hope this helps.
