Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 36 to female with 3 kids. I have had hemorrhoids in the past but they went away within a few days. 8 days ago I got 4-6 external and I have no idea if I have any internal. I have been in so much pain that the only thing I can do to get comfort is go sit in the bath tub or lay down on my stomach or side. 2 days ago the hemorrhoids started going down but now I have a feeling of pressure in my rectum and alot of flatulence. When I pass gas, occasionally, light pink discharge comes out with the gas. My doctor kinda blew it off like it was just normal hemorrhoids. The pain of what I m experiencing is not normal for hemorrhoids, at least not the ones I ve ever had in the past. I don t know what to do from here.
