If someone kissed their girlfriend and she transmitted saliva onto their lips not into them, and the guy wipes the saliva off his lips, and immediately washes his hands after. The guy doesnt have any open sores or anything. Can they still get herpes from that even though the guy didnt transfer any saliva?
Herpes can be transmitted even through close skin contact with an infected person. Please get the kissing partners tested for possible herpes infection and get treated if infected.
