Can Herpes Occur On The Body Other Than Genitals?
Is it possible for genital herpes to appear on the body other that the genital area? I have mild itching but no clusters on the genital area. However behind my knee i have a small cluster of ulcers that stated off as blisters and were very itchy and then popped and sort of scabbed. Is this herpes or something else?

Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that herpes can occur on any body part. Its not necessary that it is only in the genital area. But it wont be diagnosed only on description. It is necessary that skin lesion should be visually diagnosed. Without visual observation it is not possible to diagnose the skin lesion.
