Can High BP Change The Mood Or Vice Versa?

42 175 5'9" I have been waking up aggressive and irritable for the last 8 months. Sometimes resulting in an argument with others. Today this happened and for some reason I decided to check my blood pressure with an automatic wrist band. The first reading was 160/109 then a little later 145/94 then 142/90 and then 139/84 My question is can high blood pressure affect your mood? I know it works the other way ie mood can affect blood

Hi,
Ya, you are correct the other way, i.e. blood pressure shoots with aggression.
In majority of cases, hypertension has no effect on ones mood.
But there are reports of developing depression with hypertension, just as with any other chronic disease.
